Our Industry Champion Award is independently awarded by Utility Week to an individual who we see to have gone above and beyond the calls of duty to invest their time and expertise in the interests of creating a better UK utilities industry – for today and tomorrow. It recognizes an individual that displays daily passion and commitment to that cause.
There’s certainly no arguing about whether our Champion this year fits that bill…..she has been an advocate for the advance of women in the power industry, she has led numerous high profile initiatives to help shape the future of utilities policy and regulation, she spearheaded a review of energy system data arrangements which has dominated industry discussions this year and she recently joined the board of gas distribution network SGN as an independent director.
