Yes. This cost per entry is £119+VAT per submission, entries must be received by Friday 2 October 2020.
There is no limit on the number entries that can be submitted by a business or organisation and where relevant the same entry can be submitted into more than one category. Please note that the entry fee applies for every entry submitted.
All entries must be submitted by Friday 2 October 2020. Please note that by submitting your entry you agree that a member of your organisation will be available to attend the awards on Monday 8 February 2021. Please note that attending the awards does incur additional costs.
Eligibility criteria
All of Utility Week’s Awards are open for entry to companies who:
- Own and operate energy or water utilities in the UK
- Provide energy or water retail services
- Provide energy flexibility or aggregation services
- Hold a regulated licence for the provision of key data or governance services to the industry
Contractors and suppliers of equipment, technology and other services to the utilities industry can enter any of Utility Week’s awards provided they do so IN PARTNERSHIP with a utility organisation which fits at least one of the above descriptors. Contractors and supplier may also enter the Partner of the Year category and Supply Chain Excellence category independently.
Project and initiatives put forward in entries must have generated quantifiable results to demonstrate their significance and impact in the last past twelve months. Most awards also ask for evidence of sustained performance over a number of years in the relevant business area or discipline.
Judging takes place in November and the shortlist will be announced shortly after (week commencing 7 December). All entrants will also receive an email confirming whether or not their entry has been successful.
The winners announcement will be made at the awards night on Monday 8 February 2021. Winners are not notified prior to the awards ceremony.

16:00: Gold package guests join their tables for pre-event virtual networking
16:30: All guests are invited to join us prior to the ceremony for group virtual networking – this is in a ‘speed dating’ style where guests are matched for three minute windows.
16:45: The glittering Utility Week Awards ceremony will be presented by a celebrity host – with some special surprises in store
17:15: Networking remains open for gold package guests, who will also enjoy their ‘flavour explorer experience’
For this year’s virtual ceremony, you can dress as you wish – though we encourage you to get into the spirit of the event and dress up!
