Our mission.
Energy and water companies have made big promises to the public for the final years of this decade. Whether it is the vast swathe of new infrastructure to be laid, the futureproofing of existing assets, the protection of the environment or a further step change in customer service, utilities will be judged on the delivery of these pledges.
The Utility Week Awards looks at how utilities, and their key partners, are finding new ways to deliver for customers, the economy and the environment and how they are building the skills base for future challenges.
This year we have overhauled our categories to reflect on the demands facing a utility company in 2026. This includes the increasingly important role of technology, the need to drive behaviour change around the use of energy and water and for innovation to move out of the sandbox into business as usual.
As ever, we will be seeking submissions that go beyond regulatory requirements, clearly show a connection to the needs of customers and make a genuine difference.
We want to shine a light on the companies, teams and individuals that are delivering real change for the customers of today and tomorrow. If you have a story to tell, we want to hear it.
