This award highlights the critical projects deploying and connecting renewable generation and storage as well as the broader distributed energy and energy network landscape, that are supporting the decarbonisation of the power system.
Eligibility: This category is open to utilities and non-utilities
Entries for this award should show evidence of:
- An innovative approach to energy flexibility, storage or other means of decarbonisation, with proven adoption and impact
- How the initiative contributes to the achievement of Clean Power goals
- That the initiative is either profitable or has a route to be so
- Wider industry impact, such as the potential for further rollout
- Benefit for customers (whether industrial/commercial or domestic)
